A BAS Agent/Bookkeeper has a different role than a Tax Agent/Accountant. We are often working out of people's home offices and get involved with the day to day business of life "in the home" - I am not saying that this is a good thing but it naturally evolves over many years of service. At times the SKILL Set of the Bookkeeper can be overlooked if they have great empathy for the Client - but times are changing and Bookkeepers need to understand that Empathy and Kindness is not going to save them if they do sub standard Bookkeeping.
